I am Dr. Anil Kumar Sagar, an academician, researcher, and educator in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, with extensive experience in teaching, research, academic administration, accreditation, and research supervision. I am currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Sharda University, Greater Noida, where I have been associated since February 2020. Alongside my academic responsibilities, I serve as Deputy Director, Program Accreditation, Advisor to the Learning Resource Centre, Digi Shakti Nodal Officer, and a Member of the Board of Studies in the Department of CSE. I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Technology from the School of Computer & Systems Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, completed in 2015. I earned my M.Tech. in Computer Science from JSSATE Noida and B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering from G. B. Pant Engineering College, Pauri-Garhwal. I also qualified NET in June 2012. My academic career spans more than two decades, during which I have served in various capacities including Professor, Dean Academics, Head of Department, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Senior Lecturer, and Lecturer at institutions such as Sharda University, RKGIT, Galgotias University, and Anand Engineering College. My academic and research interests cover diverse areas of computing, particularly Wireless Sensor Networks, Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks, Internet of Vehicles, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, Internet of Things, Network Security, and Cryptography. I have taught subjects including Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, Data Mining, Database Management Systems, Data Structures, Computer Networks, Network Security, Cryptography, and C Programming. My technical experience also includes Python, SQL/PLSQL, Hadoop, Hive, and Pig. Research and mentorship form an important part of my academic journey. I have supervised Ph.D. scholars working in areas such as the Internet of Vehicles, GPU-accelerated sequence alignment, adversarial attacks and defence strategies in machine learning, and trust-based models for vehicular ad-hoc networks. My research contributions include numerous journal articles, conference papers, and book-related publications covering wireless networks, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, IoT, healthcare systems, GPU computing, deep learning, and intelligent technologies. I am also associated with multiple published patents involving artificial intelligence, intelligent solar tracking, patient monitoring, deep-learning-based payment systems, medical-device authentication, and cryptocurrency-based payment technologies. Beyond teaching and research, I have contributed extensively to academic leadership, NBA/NAAC accreditation, outcome-based education, examinations, curriculum development, conferences, faculty development programmes, and institutional administration. I am a member of IEEE and CSI and have served as a reviewer for Wireless Personal Communications (Springer) and IGI Global, as well as a program committee member for several conferences. My commitment to teaching has also been recognized through the Best Teacher Award for Outstanding Performance for the academic years 2006–07 and 2007–08. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to quality education, meaningful research, student mentorship, academic innovation, and strengthening institutional excellence.
